Another Planet project is totally inspired by my 2016 summer travel across amazing Iceland. This is an attempt to convey the beauty, diversity and harmony of the underwater world, the world of silence and smooth movements, the world of purity and amazing colors. My observations from this brief three-month adventure were considerably more varied and brilliant than I had anticipated.

They continue to exist, endure, and reverberate in my dreams and daily existence with hues and tones that I can identify and look for in the sky, the weather, and the natural world. These are but a simple and weak glimmer of the sights and feelings that overwhelm you in Iceland. 

My desire is to share all I have seen, to tell my personal story and moreover to gradually and scrupulously revive those days in my memory by artistic means. I wish to touch the paper with a paintbrush, restoring all and every subtle nuance of that faraway piece of land, so visually unusual to our eyes.

While in the city I find myself thinking that I have been to another planet which perhaps is a most accurate definition of what Iceland is!
